Thing 3 (digital footprint)

I used google.com to check my digital footprint and I was not surprised. I have been taking care of my footprint for years. I was self-employed, so my goal was that everyone could find me. I also take care of my smartphone and PC settings. Here it is also important to check the settings after a major update. Very often there are some automatic changes in the settings afterwards. All my private accounts on Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram are locked and for private use only.

The only thing I found out is that I can’t find this page on Google :-(.  But hopefully, this is one of the 23 things I will learn in the next weeks.

Start 23 Things (Thing 1+2)

This is my blog about 23 things we can learn on our course for digital communication at MCI Innsbruck.

I am attending this course in addition to my studies in mechatronics to gain more experience in digital communication, such as blogging, designing websites and so on. Especially at this time. I think it’s important to use modern tools like this one to show what you like, what you’re interested in and maybe to inspire others.

fuel pump relay 0025452005

Fault: Sometimes the fuel pump does not work when starting the engine. In this case, the engine was switched off after 1 second. I had to turn the key several times. After some attempts, I could hear the fuel pump and start the engine. When the pump was in operation, it did not stop after a short time.

Solution: I opened the relay and found a burnt resistor. Only the first ring was visible (looks orange or red). By the measurement, I received values of 2-10k. The first ring red means red = 2 and orange = 3. Therefore I chose a resistor with 3,3kOhm. Now everything is fine again. The fuel pump works at the first turn of the key and stops after one second. The engine works well 🙂
